Picnic in the Park

This is one of Charlotte's new toddler habits. This girl learns something new everyday. Some of those things we wish she could unlearn. She's super cute though. And too smart for her own good.

First Day

We fit in as much as we could today. We saw the University of Washington campus, which was in full bloom. The library is amazing, so we had to check that out too. A visit from Aunt Melissa wouldn't be complete without some shopping:), so we went to the shops by the university and found some cute little things in the "little thing store". I got some crane spoon/chopstick holders. Then we went to the beach and ate some lunch.

Spring Break

Aunt Melissa came to town! We are super excited. We had an exciting picnic and walk around the arboretum. I love seeing all the Spring flowers coming out. Charlotte has started giggling a lot more and she decided that she needed to giggle every time someone walked by to get their attention. It was pretty cute. She really enjoyed the circus animal cookies (so did I really...) and running around in the nice weather. We have some great adventures planned this week.

Yay! Skyping with Aunt Katie! Charlotte got some stick on gel toys from Aunt Melissa and put them on the screen.

Kayak Point

We had to change our plans for yesterday when Charlotte woke up with a runny nose and a little fever, so we stayed a little closer to home. We went to Kayak Point park and Mukilteo beach instead of Orcas Island. We took our mandatory (usually unsuccessful) jumping picture on the dock. The weather was amazing and we could see the snow capped mountains all around. We also had to check out the President's Day sales at the outlets and got some great deals:)

Finally some wind!

YAY! We finally got a chance to fly our kite. Ok, it was a bit of a process and didn't last very long, but we did get it up in the air at least. I landed a sweet job that has nothing to do with my major and Brad and Charlotte picked me up from my first day of work postgrad and we had a picnic in the park.

We are super excited to use our new bike trailer from DI. What a deal. I heart that place.

Charlotte looks a little scared of that other baby in the reflection... and we'll have to prop her up a little more.
