We took family portraits today. Here's a little teaser with Charlotte and Katie. More to come, I'm sure.

Children's Museum

All the Gerhardt family came to town to  for a family reunion before we head up to Washington. 

We went to the children's museum and the splash pad and swimming. It was lots of fun.

6 Months

Happy 6 month birthday, Charlotte girl! YAY! One half of a year down:)

Rice Cereal

Charlotte ate rice cereal for the first time today. I think she did pretty well for her first time.

Picnic with a Sleepy Babe

Charlotte slept during our picnic today. She usually has a talent for waking up right when it's time to eat. 

That girl just doesn't get enough attention. Not that we don't love giving her that attention, but it was nice

to eat without a squawking baby. 

We had our official going away party this weekend. It was fun. We are going to miss our friends in Provo.

We made lots  of delicious baked goods including these beautiful Washington cookies.

Utah Lake

We are enjoying our last few days here in Provo. 

We made a trip out to Utah Lake to see the beautiful sunset.

Officially Done

Today was Brad's last day of work/class at BYU. Let the summer vacation begin!

Poop in the Pool?

Our day at the pool came to an untimely end when there was an allegation of poop in the pool. It was later confirmed. I'm not giving any names, but Charlotte and I were definitely not in the pool when it happened.

 It wasn't Brad either:)

Fun at the Pool

The pool was a little bit traumatic for Charlotte. It was her first time. She was fine at first even with cold water, but we couldn't resist that sad little quivering lip of hers so we brought her out for a while. The swimsuit made her cold so she was just in the swim diaper. Just wanted to show some skin:) 

Abby had a great time though and stayed in the pool for a while. Teaching Charlotte how it's done. I think Charlotte was a little confused with why the bathtub was so big and cold and why there were other people in there with her. The sun eventually came out and she went back in like a champ. 

Playing in the Canyon

We went up the canyon last night to make a fire and roast things. Fun fun!
