We went to the arboretum a few weeks ago to get some pictures like the ones we did last year. I think we went a little later this year and a lot of the leaves had already fallen, but it was still beautiful. Charlotte had a blast running through the leaves.

In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines...
Happy Halloween from Madeline, Miss Clavell and the Spanish Ambassador! We had a blast trick or treating with Charlotte. Well, when she actually decided to walk up and get the candy herself instead of making us get it:) We had a Halloween feast of beef stew in a pumpkin, rolls, and a pumpkin cake after. Yummy!

Bob's Corn
The rain finally cleared up yesterday, so we decided to go to a pumpkin patch. We met up with one of Charlotte's friends and walked around the pumpkin patch. Charlotte and her friend loved playing with the enormous pumpkins in the pumpkin patches, but decided that they preferred the tiny pumpkins. I love Fall in Washington.
Seriously, she loved the pumpkins...
That's Charlotte's friend with the mohawk on the right. She wasn't so sure about him...:)
This is the cow train. We didn't ride because we thought that Charlotte would jump out or something. Maybe in a few years.

Chihuly Glass Exhibit
We've been by the Chihuly glass exhibit downtown a number of times, but have never made our way in. When it first went up last year, you could see some of the sculptures through the hedge, but that hedge is really growing this year and blocking my view! So we decided to go in with our friends Marie and Jen. It was so worth it! The sculptures were amazing. Charlotte had just gotten up from a nap and wanted to be held the whole time, so it was great. She would have been all over that glass at any other time... Now for glass sculpture overload (and these are only a few of the pieces. It really was a lot to take in)
