Para Para Paradise

Spring is well on it's way. We have these lovely cherry blossoms in our house from the yardwork last weekend. Plants and tree all over have buds on them already and we wake up every morning to birds chirping. We went on a hike today at Paradise Valley Conservation Area. It was a perfect day for a hike and we narrowly escaped the heavy rain that continued for the rest of the day. Spring in Seattle is going to be beautiful.

(sorry, I got a little carried away with the blur effect...)

Hiking the Lie

We hiked the Y today. So not worth it. Seriously. A painted Y after all that work... I was hoping for something more exciting. Like a waterfall or body of water I could jump into. Wishful thinking.
We had to do it before leaving Provo though. And we got some nice pictures.

That trail was steep, steep, steep. Lots of Memorial Day hikers were out.

Charlotte loved it. She slept the whole way down while our legs burned and my knees were shaking.
Luckily Brad was carrying her or we wouldn't have made it past the first switchback.

It felt good after the hike, but it was pretty difficult going up.

On another note, this little girl will chew on anything she can get her little mouth on. Like a table.
